MacAllister Machinery

The MacAllister Machinery Headquarters project involved the construction of a 345,000-square-foot facility on a 132-acre site, consolidating various operations under one roof. The facility includes executive and administrative offices, an equipment sales and rental area, employee training and food service areas, a clinic, a parts warehouse, two large service bays, and an equipment wash building. Designed to support the company's heavy equipment operations, the headquarters serves as a central hub for MacAllister Machinery's activities.

Construction Experience

The construction process began in 2015 and was completed in late 2017. The project required the team at imi to produce mix designs to meet the high traffic and heavy equipment areas. A concrete mix for the interior slab included a concentrated 50-pound dose of steel fiber to extend joints from column line to column line. The heavy-duty pavement was structurally engineered and placed in two six-inch lifts. Prior to concrete paving, Specialties Company completed 150,000 square yards of lime stabilization to support the building pads for the office space, service and repair center, display area, and storage building.

Impact and Benefits

The new headquarters enhances operational efficiency by consolidating various functions into a single location, streamlining workflows and reducing logistical complexities. The facility's design supports MacAllister Machinery's commitment to providing reliable service and in-depth knowledge to its customers. Additionally, the headquarters' strategic location and state-of-the-art amenities contribute to the company's ability to attract and retain top talent, further strengthening its position in the heavy equipment industry.
